    Pre-requisite for this course is a completed first year at the entry university.
    7. Objectives, learning outcomes and obtained knowledge

    The Minor Thesis is based on the Basic Course and the Business Development Lab Course (both accomplished at the entry year). It follows a specific technical task line and incorporates the EIT Digital learning outcomes. Students shall utilize their knowledge of marketing, strategy, finance, HRM, IP management, economics, organization and project management related to a technical project.

    Students shall prepare and defend an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Thesis (I&E thesis) in addition to the (Technical) master thesis to obtain the MSc degree. This course is the first part of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship thesis work.

    8. Synopsis

    Students will be assigned an I&E thesis topic from the offering of the industrial partners of the Budapest Associate Partner CLC (Co-location Center) and from other BME industrial partners. The topic will be related to the student's technical thesis and will address business, innovation and entrepreneurial aspects.

    This course is the first part of the thesis work.
    9. Method of instruction Independent work under the guidance of the supervisor.
    10. Assessment Students are supposed to get acquainted with the subject, accomplish literature survey and submit a written report.
    11. Recaps Delayed submission of the report is possible by the end of the week following the courses (supplementary week).
    12. Consultations Students are supposed to work independently on their topics under the guidance of the supervisor and industrial consultant.
