    7. Objectives, learning outcomes and obtained knowledge Supporting the students' induction to the everyday life at the University. Know-how exchange, consultation, community building. Fostering the building of learning communities where members could help and motivating each other during their further studies. Preparation for further semesters, differentiation (introducing the faculty's and the academic departments' scope, technical activity, specialisations).

    This is not a mandatory subject but highly recommended for every student at the faculty. As per the specialisation enrolment rules passing both University Experience subject could grant some minor advantages to students (during the elaboration of faculty chance submission, scholarships, specialisation enrolment, etc).

    8. Synopsis
    • How to survive at the University?
    • Fostering weekly learning, motivating students.
    • Clearing of uncertainties in the curriculum (e.g. before preparing for midterm test), if required with involving the subject lecturer.
    • Fostering the joint preparation for midterm tests, homeworks and other assignments.
    • Organising technical and social events, community building from the group.
    • The second semester focuses also on introducing the faculty and the departments' technical activity.
    9. Method of instruction Consultation, discussion with the group leader lecturer, senior students and the participating students.
    10. Assessment The requirement for the signature is 70% participation on the contact hours. As per the current specialisation enrolment rules students who pass both University Experience subjects could compensate one missing criteria during the enrolment process.
