    6. Pre-requisites
    Ajánlott:
    Perequisite for this course is a completed first year at the entry university.
    7. Objectives, learning outcomes and obtained knowledge Students will be able to: plan and develop multimedia services, maintain, upgrade and test multimedia communication systems, write technical documentation, solve technical problems regarding to multimedia services.
    8. Synopsis Examples of project lab topics:
    • Multimedia mining
    • Dynamic malware analysis
    • Wireless indoor positioning
    • Free viewpoint switching for 3D video streaming
    • Multicast 3D video streaming
    • Sound quality analyses
    • Urban noise monitoring system
    • Acoustic design of a sound reflector for the opera stage

    9. Method of instruction Independent work under the guidance of the supervisor.
    10. Assessment During the semester:
    • Students are supposed to solve an engineering problem and demonstrate their ability to work independently on their topics under the guidance of the supervisor
    Evaluation:
    • The students must submit a written report at the end of the semester and present it in the group of fellow students and supervisors.
    • The evaluation of the course is based on the submitted report, presentation and the complexity of the performed work.

    11. Recaps Delayed submission of the report is possible by the end of the week following the end of semester (supplementary week).
    12. Consultations Students are supposed to work independently on their topics under the guidance of the supervisor. Consultation possibility are scheduled by the supervisor.
